My name is Kashi Cormier; I have more than 10 years club experience and have been with Mizuno Club Long Beach for over 7 years. I attended the University of Southern California where I earned a full athletic volleyball scholarship playing both outside, opposite and some middle. I will be the Assistant coach with Joy Fuerbringer on 17M & 16M along with helping the various Runbird and Wave teams throughout the year. I am recently married and the hardest thing has been getting use to losing my last name and calling myself Kashi Walmer. I am fun, loud, and a bit obnoxious and might make your kid cry but at the end of the day I only want to get the most out of your kids. I love healthy snacks and room temperature water so if I ever give a private lesson please be prepared with fruits and snacks, remember a happy Kashi is a fun Kashi. I am so excited about our new facility and for all the kids this year. This is the best club, I really enjoy the kids, parents, coaches and camaraderie here, man I love what I do. Go Long Beach!
